First of all we would like to recognize our men and women who serve our country in the military. Thank you to all our troops both past and present. God bless you, our prayers are with you!!
What a great weekend we had!!! On Saturday we were privileged to spend the afternoon at Gospel Way Baptist Church in Dalton, GA. It was a "Hawaiian" themed day of fun for the youth. (be sure and watch the website for pictures) We did a little karaoke with the kids and teens filling in on a 2x2 song and replacing the singer of their choice. A LOT OF FUN!! Each member of the group then brought a short lesson/ sermon, and everyone including the group received a blessing from the messages. Saturday evening we enjoyed a service with Shady Grove Baptist in Chatsworth, GA and really enjoyed the other singers there and the service as well.
On Sunday it was one of our favorite church events....HOMECOMING!! We sang at Sonrise Baptist Church in Cleveland, TN and MY OH MY!!! how God moved in just the singing portion of the service.... Stephen brought the message and my how good our Lord is. Thanks to the church for always making the 2x2 Quartet feel welcome and allowing us the opportunity to minster for him.
Sunday night it was on to 4th Street Community Church in Cleveland, TN and once more, the power of the Lord fell in the service and we are sure that no one in attendance walked out the same. Thank you Pastor, and the church!!! We sure hope this will be a regular visit with you and your congregation.
