We sang 2 times this weekend. This weekend we were fed spiritually AND physically. We always love singing at homecomings, and enjoying having our stomachs filled with the wonderful "covered dishes" and desserts. MORE important is having our "spiritual" tanks filled with the blessings and the power of the Lord. This weekend we got both!!!
It is always good to see everyone at the Good Hope Baptist Church in Decatur, TN. We havent sang there in almost a year, and were very glad to be back for their homecoming. (looks like an annual date now, since we have been invited back next year) The little church in the country has been growing in leaps and bounds, and it seems they are about to add on to the church just to be able to seat all the people. Chairs had to be put out again, and i was told that was normal now, and NOT JUST for homecoming. The altars stayed full for a lot of the service and we know that God met with us Sunday morning for sure!! Then we filled our bellys with the wonderful food that always awaits when we are at Good Hope.....thank you all for the hospitality, and we look to see you all soon.
Sunday Night we were at the North Whitfield Baptist Church in Tunnel Hill, GA. (Stephen's Hometown) We were able to do something that night that normally doesnt happen.....Stephen AND Jeff preached. Normally one of them will preach, but BOTH of them preached that night, and my oh my how God met with us all in the service. We want to thank Pastor Stringer and the entire church for the liberty to mind the Lord and minister as the Holy Spirit leads. The altars filled 3-4 times with much rejoicing and lives being touched...for that we give the Lord the praise!!!! If no one else was blessed, we know that our group received blessings abundantly more than we deserved.
Please keep us in your prayers as we continue to preach and sing his word!!!
Until next time,
God Bless you all
