Well, the 2x2 Quartet took the weekend off for a change.....(sort of) Daniel had some big happenings in that he was gettin things ready for his upcoming wedding. He and Vanessa took advantage of the time away from singing to put some effort and planning toward the big day.
We are all very proud for them and are glad to see Daniel has a wonderful lady who supports him in his ministry. Joe spent his time with family and we know he was thankful for the opportunity to rest a little bit from the carrying of equipment and making sure Stephen's batteries are fresh. (not sure how Stephen uses batteries faster, he just does)
Jeff, Stephen, and Jon all were joined by their familes at the concert featuring Gold City and the Crabb Family in Chattanooga. We all had a very very good time seeing Gold City again and hearing the new songs from their new CD. The guys were as friendly as ever and my goodness!! they did a great job. They still got it!!! As far as the Crabb Family...well what can ya say??....they gave it their all as usual and many lives were touched from their ministering. They always do a great great job.
At the concert it was amazing how many friends we ran into from our local area. There were LOTS of people who we hadnt seen in a long long time. It was great to see them all, and we look forward to being back on the road and singing for the Lord again real soon.
