Is there anything better than "Buckner's Chicken?" The 2x2 Quartet doesnt believe that any chicken, anywhere, anytime can be better than the chicken at Buckners. Period.
We headed out for Middle Georgia this past Saturday and made yet another stop at our favorite restaurant...."BUCKNER's" After a great meal of Chicken, Green Beans, BBQ Pork, Stewed Potatoes, and Peach Cobbler, its a wonder we were able to sing at all. The house was packed and we really enjoyed singing to the great crowd. Everyone was into the entire service and we received a blessing if no one else did.
Sunday morning we made our annual trip to the Cedar Rock Baptist Church in Jackson, GA.
These people are some of the sweetest people on earth. They ALL can cook, and they all stayed after the dinner for the singing service with 2x2. They always take great care of us, and we always enjoy being with them.
Sunday night over to the New Beginnings Christian Church in Griffin, GA. These people REALLY go to church. From the opening song till the end they were on their feet and rejoicing and praising God. The altar service was especially sweet seeing the young people praying and getting closer to God. We already are looking forward to next years trip.
