This actually got started a little early....we started our singing weekend last Thursday night at the "Holiday Bowl" in Hixson, TN. It was the first singing of it's kind in the area we are told. The bowling alley shut down the lanes at 5pm and opened it's doors to the gospel through song.
We were thrilled to be singing there, and we were joined by the Southland Quartet, Mallory Ledford, and Tennessee Harmony. We sang till almost 11pm and were worried that they would throw us all out till they told us that the "late night" crowd was coming....wow.....anyway. We REAALY look forward to the next Bowl & Sing.
Sunday we joined in at the Homecoming of our friends at White Oak Baptist in Dayton, TN.
Always good to be in service with them.....and boy oh boy do these folks know how to cook!!! you dont have to ask us twice....we are there.
Sunday Night we were at Stephen's home church and they all got their first taste of 2x2 Quartet with Jon Dillon. He did not disappoint....and as for his new song....well, Jon did JUST FINE!!!
The 2 weeks of camp and campmeeting were kicked off well, and we love singing there.
Looking forward to next year.
Now we look forward to this Wednesday Night...at Blue Springs Gospel Sing in Cleveland, TN!!!!
