FRIDAY, JULY 2, 2010
Friday night we had the privilege to sing with The Dixie Melody Boys. We were at Graysville United Methodist Church in Graysville, Tn.
The pastor and all there had a wonderful time as we celebrated the 4th of July, with some great Southern Gospel music!
Ed O'Neal and the Melody Boys did a masterful job as they took the stage. Ed is still one of the smoothest bass singers around! Great job guys!
SATURDAY, JULY 3, 2010
Saturday afternoon we were at Anchor of Hope Baptist Church, in Rossville, Ga. They were putting on a fund raiser for a 5 year old child in their church. Good turn out. Thank you Pastor for letting us be a part of your program.
SUNDAY, JULY 4, 2010
Freedom Fest in Cleveland, Tn. This is an annual event that has been going on for the past 13 years and it gets better every year!
Pastor Sears and the folks at Mount Olive Church of God did a masterful job of organizing and carrying out this event.
As usual there were plenty of vendors and lots of things to do for the kids and adults! Pastor Gary and James we appreciate you inviting 2x2 to be a part of this great family oriented celebration. The groups were great and the fireworks were very good!
I even met a couple and their children from Moultrie, Ga. that were camping in the area and they came by to check out the festivities.
If you did not attend don't forget it next year!!
