Well, even though its been a few weeks since we posted our news, we have still been busy.
We spent new years eve weekend down at one of our favorite places on earth....BUCKNER's RESTAURANT!!! We had to force Jon to put down the chicken and step away slowly before someone got hurt. Seriously, he put away a LOT of fried chicken, but then again, we all did.
We spent the night at the Buckner's house, and then sang Sunday morning at the Providence Baptist Church in Shady Dale, GA. Pastor and the congregation made us all feel very very welcome and the lunch afterwards at the local buffet was just plain GREAT.
New Years Eve the 2x2 Quartet hustled it back from South GA just in time to sing a "watch night" service at the Cherokee Valley Baptist Church in Ringgold, GA. MY MY what a great time we had seeing the old year out and praying in the new year seeking God's will for us all.
This past weekend we enjoyed providing the special singing for the Southview Baptist Church in Cleveland, TN. Pastor Works then brought a great stirring message for us all. Thanks to them for always making us feel welcome.
Last night we sang at another one of our favorite places, the Good Hope Baptist Church in Decatur TN. The congregation is growing and the spirit is still alive at that place!!! The Holy Spirit is always welcomed and always a part of each service that we have even been in there. It's easy to spot a church that spends time in prayer and looking to receive a blessing in each service. We love you all there.
