Well, the past 2 weeks have been a great blessing in the ministry of the 2x2 Quartet.
A couple weeks back, we sang the homecoming service at Jon's home church. The folks at Providence Baptist in Ooltewah, TN are always very kind and gracious to the group and we enjoy being in service with them. A special blessing that morning was the message that was brought by our very own Jeff Kelley. He did a great job and the altar call following the message showed that God had indeed used the message to touch hearts. We had a great lunch and then went back in for a little "afternoon singing" with 2x2. Good times all around.
Last weekend we enjoyed the wedding of Daniel and Vanessa. These two are truly a blessing to us all, and we were glad to celebrate the start of their new life together. Filling in for Daniel was Mr. David Crittendon from East Ridge, TN. He did a great job and we are truly thankful to have him as a friend to the group. We sang last Sunday night at the Harmony Baptist Church in Chattanooga, TN and we believe David was just a LITTLE bit nervous...he did just fine.
Pastor Nix from Harmony brought a great message about what happens when Jesus is "in the house". Truly a great message.
As the weather heats up, so does the schedule. We will be posting lots more, cause we will be singing LOTS more.
